THANK You, Coach Sherry !!

Today marks the first day of our beloved Coach Sherry's official retirement as head age group coach for ATAC.  I want to take the time to reflect on the lifetime of legacy that she has imprinted on this club, the sport and our families.  Some people retire from a job or even a profession.  Coach Sherry is retiring from her life's passion: swimming yes, but most importantly, her swimmers.  The number of champions, record breakers, TAGS winners, and college swimmers she has had a fingerprint on is to numerous to list or likely count.  I consider myself blessed to know her fingerprint has been made on my own two sons and I know I'm not alone in that.    We are so lucky that she continues to choose ATAC and will be staying on as a member of our BOD as secretary, volunteering for our meets, and continuing to cheer our kids on!  

Everything in this world has a beginning and an end.  That doesn't make it easy.  So Sherry, know that we are so deeply appreciative of your service to ATAC and our swimmers. We adore you! And while we celebrate the end of an incredible legacy as a coach, we are excited for a new beginning for you and your family with FREE TIME and your new role within ATAC.
