"I enjoy the creativity of teaching beginners how to swim properly. It is incredible to see the amount of mental and physical learning that happens in six months to a year. Just when they know their strokes and the language of swimming, I pass them on and the challenge begins again."

Dan began working with ATAC in 2001. He has twenty-five years of teaching experience and a life-long love for aquatic activities. He is currently the Assistant Director of Aquatics and Nationally Certified Pool Operator at Greenhill School. Dan teaches swimming, drills, and games to grades 1-6, and coaches 7th & 8th grade Swim Team.

With excellent coaching and dedication, Dan rose to the top of his high school, college and USS Swimming teams in Seattle and Austin. Working at aquatic centers during college, Dan gained experience as: A Head-Lifeguard, Learn to Swim Instructor, a Summer Swim League Head-Coach, and a Masters Coach.
