Classic Swimming by ATAC at COR Classic Nov. 30-Dec. 2, 2007

10 and under Girls- Meilynn Colby swam into the finals in six events with 5 life time best times. Emily Elson swam into the finals in both the 50 and 100 yard Butterflies and scored for the team in three other events.

10 and under Boys- Mason Kelly contributed to the ATAC team totals by placing in the top 16 in each of his 7 events and swam 6 life time best times.

11-12 Girls- Logan McGill swam life time best all eleven times she competed and scored in 6 out of 7 events.

13-14 Girls- Claire Brandt made it to the finals in each of her three events swimming life time bests in two of the three events. Katie Day scored points by placing in the top 16 in the 50 yard Free. Alix Kohrs swam into the finals in the 200 Back and had 6 out of seven life time best swims. Maddi Malliard scored for ATAC in the 200 Back and went 6 for 7 in life time bests. Alyssa McElya swam into the finals twice and had 5 life time best times. Ainsley Mitchell scored among the finalists in three events and had a perfect 7 in life time best swims. Danielle Reuben swam into the finals in both the 100 and 200 yard Breastrokes.

13-14 Boys- Lyle Sarembock swam life time bests and made it into the finals in each of his six events. He improved almost six seconds in the 100 Back and thirteen seconds in the 200 Back making new TAGS times in both events.

15- 18 Girls- Meg Austin scored for ATAC in both the 100 and 200 yard Breastrokes. Marylyn Toledo swam into the finals in her three events winning the 100 yard Butterfly and had two life time best times.

15-18 Boys- DJ Taylor swam 5 of his 6 events in life time best times and scored into the finals twice.

ATAC TRIO Shine at All Stars

All Star Trio: Alyssa, Logan & Claire	13 Year Old All Star High Point

Congrats to Claire Brandt, Logan McGill, & Alyssa McElya for representing team NT at the Annual All Star Meet in November.

Logan McGill finished 7th in the 50 & 100 Breastrokes.

Alyssa McElya finished 7th in the 200 Fly, 8th in the 100 Fly, and 11th in the 50 & 100 Free.

Claire Brandt finished 1st in the 50, 100, & 200 Free and 100 Back and 2nd in the 200 Back and 200 IM and walked away with the 13 year old high point award.

"Little Splashers" SC Meet Oct. 6-7, 2007

Starting Short Course Season with a Splash!

Great job to everyone who competed in the Little Splashers meet. We had many awesome swims.

New B times: Austin Krohn, Spencer Barnett, Brad Bain, Julie De La Rosa, and Zach Pendergraft

Plus many near misses on B, BB and A times.

This meet also awarded high point awards for the swimmers that earned the most points for their age group. ATAC had 4 out of the 12 high point winners. As well ATAC placed 5th overall. This says alot about our awesome swimmers!

Long Course TAGS July 18-22, 2007

2007 ATAC LC TAGS Team - Ahoy Maties!

Congratulations to all of our TAGS Qualifiers. These ATAC swimmers completed their Long Course Season with some great performances in Austin.

Claire Brandt wins the 12 Year Old Girls events for 50 & 100 Free, 50 Back, and 50 Fly, breaking the TAGS and State Records in the 50 Free with a time of 27.55. She finished 2nd overall in the 200 Free & 100 Fly, and 3rd in the 200 Fly.  Claire topped off the weekend by winning 12 Year Old High Point Award

Logan McGill brings home two 2nd place awards in both the 100 & 200 Breaststroke for 11 Year Old Girls. Also finishing 5th in the 50 Breast.

Katie Day placed 8th overall  in the 100 Free for 13 year old Girls.

Lyle Sarembock placed 7th overall in the 100 Free and 6th overall in the 50 Free for 13 year old Boys.

Both Amanda Beare and Hunter Hayden were event alternates for  finals. Amanda in the 200 Fly and Hunter in the 100 Back & 100 Fly.

Speedo Champions Series Sectionals SC Champ Feb 22-25, 2007

Senior Strength at Sectionals

A strong contingent of ATAC Senior swimmers competed at the Short Course Sectionals held at Texas A&M. Andy Osterland, DJ Taylor, Rachel Nash, Maddie Crum, Marylyn Toledo, Alicia Stevens, Stephen Yang, and Nick Bass all competed.

Finalists: Andy Osterland (500, 200 Free), Alicia Stevens (100 Breast), Stephen Yang (200 Back), Marylyn Toledo (100, 200 Fly, 100, 200 Breast), Maddie Crum (100, 200 Back, 100, 200 Fly).

The Girls 400 Medley Relay finished strong with a 4th place finish, setting a new  team record and qualifying for the National Championships! Congrats to Maddie Crum, Alicia Stevens, Marylyn Toledo, and Rachel Nash.
